“Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.”
(Romans 5:3-4 ESV )
“For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what is promised.”
(Hebrews 10:36 ESV)
There’s a phrase “endurance to run the race.” Or something like that. In the world nowadays, we all need endurance just to put one foot in front of the other. This world is going crazy. There are going to be hard times. But did you know there’s a Bible verse for pretty much everything?
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
( James 1:2-4 ESV)
If you look hard enough, you can find a verse to uplift you.
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”
(James 1:12 ESV)
If you think you are going through something, no one else has. Think again.
“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape that you may be able to endure it.”
(1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV)
And if you think the Bible was written for years long past, think again.
“For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.”
(Romans 15:4 ESV)
So don’t give up the race. We are nearing the end of it. Jesus is coming back soon. I pray you are ready. So stay strong and run the race ahead of you with the endurance God had given you.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
