Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:6-7 ESV)
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
(1 Peter 5:7 ESV)
Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.
(Proverbs 12:25 ESV)
Inhale-God
Exhale-it’s yours.
Worry can’t add a single hour to your life. But trusting in God can change everything. Let go! Breathe! He’s got it!
How often do you worry about something. Does your worrying about it change it? Does it make everything alright?
In all of my 70 years of life, worry has done nothing but make me worry more. For example. Say I have a bill due but no money to pay it. I can worry all day about until I get an ulcer. But it doesn’t change a thing. I still have that bill to pay and no money. But just what if I gave this problem to God? If I don’t go and snatch it back to try to work it out myself, if I just leave it in God’s more than capable hands and start praising Him, what do you think will happen? God will work it out for me.
God will work it out if you let Him. He already has an escape clause built into our lives. Yes. He knows we are going to mess up. It’s just human nature. So let God have your problems, no matter how big or how small, He already has the answer. Praise God! He loves us so much. And I, for one, am quite happy about that.
Have a blessed day. Jesus loves you and so do I.
