Whether You Go To Church Or Not…

1. God is with you: “For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the one who helps you.’” (Isaiah 41:13 ESV)

2. God has a good plan for you: “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” (Proverbs 19:21 ESV)

3. God will guide your steps: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV)

4. God gives you comfort: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4 ESV)

5. God carries your burdens: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 ESV)

I think these speak for themselves.  The theme is God loves you. Oh, I know, I harp on how God loves you. But He does. He loves you so much He sent His only Son to die on the cross for our sins. Over 2000 years ago, Jesus died for us. Imagine that. We were nowhere near being alive. Yet, He went to the cross for our sins. 

Do you love Jesus? Do you believe He died so we could live? I would love it if everyone who reads this, to take a minute and thank Him for taking our sins to the cross. Thank Him for the sacrifice He made so we could live.
