Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

(James 1:12 ESV)

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

(1 Peter 5:10 ESV)

If you want a good cry, watch I Can Only Believe 2. It is a really good movie. This is about the group MercyMe and Tim Timmons. It’s about things they were going through. It just goes to show you that no matter how famous you are, there are still problems in life.

But problems can be overcome with the help of Jesus. Jesus will fight with you and for you. When you feel like you just can’t go on, hang on tight to Jesus. He will never let you go.

Tim Timmons went through a lot but he held onto his faith. He drew a black X on his wrist to remind him. I was talking to a friend last night about the movie. We talked about that X. She said she is going to draw a cross on her wrist. I did too. I sometimes need a reminder that Jesus has this. He is with me now and always will be.

So whatever you do. Remember who holds your future. And put your trust and faith in the one who will never let you go.
