1. Wade into life: “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9 ESV)

2. Find the right  balance: “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1 ESV)

3. Be flexible: “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” (Colossians 3:2 ESV)

4. Keep your beak clean: “Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets; therefore do not associate with a simple babbler.” (Proverbs 20:19 ESV)

There are a couple more that I couldn’t find the right verses for. But I think they are just as important:

1. Spend time with your flock: We all need to spend time with friends and family. We need our peeps to keep us grounded and balanced.

2. Don’t be afraid to get your feet wet: Don’t be afraid to do new things. Go out and testify how good God has been to you. People need to know that there are people like us out there willing to tell others about Jesus. 

So be a flamingo and stand out from the rest in your belief in Jesus.
