“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your justice as the noonday.”

(Psalm 37:4-6 ESV)

Google defines trust as “firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.”

Do you believe in God? Do you trust God?

 There are days I have my doubts that God is listening. But then an unexpected check or cash comes. Or I hear from someone I hadn’t heard from in a long time. And I know God is listening.

It’s been a rough week for me. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I’m not going into detail because I will not let the devil think he won even an inch. But he was hard at work this past week in my life. I think I need combat pay.  But I trusted God to work things out for me, and He has. He has never failed me yet. And He never will as long as I trust Him to take care of me.

So my question to you. Do you trust God? And I don’t just for a few things. I mean for everything. Do you trust God to take care of the big and little things? Do you trust Him enough to put everything into His hands and leave them there?

There are more times than I care to count that I gave things to God, then turned around and took them back because I didn’t think He was doing anything about them. But I have finally learned to totally trust God for everything. Do you?
