Because of You, Yahweh, my Lord
I am now able withstand the storm
Able to look ahead to the rainbow
Knowing the blessings You will perform

Because of You, I can stand strong
Knowing that through the Blood of your Son
That even the battle may have been lost
The War has been won

Because of You, My Father above
In the bleakest, darkest plight
I am able to look forward
Knowing that You will provide the light

Because of You, I know
That regardless of what may seem to be
You have already provide the best
Along my path for me

Because of You, my Creator
I am able to be thankful for yesterdays
Thankful for the joy that was shared
Before time parted its ways

Because of You I can smile
In remembrance of the times past
And still look forward to the future
When with You, all good things will last

Because of You, My Saviour
I have a new understanding
And acceptance
Of what things must be

Because of You, I live
I have the ability to enjoy my life,
To find simple pleasures and joy
