I just experienced a miracle. I had just typed up 3 important (and lengthy!) E-mails on our laptop, then when I went to send them, the computer wouldn’t connect to the server. This particular computer has some kind of a virus, and it was “doing its thing”! It is late at night, and though I could have retyped the e-mails on our desktop computer, I, of course, preferred not to do so! Besides, I had the requests on this newsletter to pray for before I got too sleepy to work on computers! Well, I prayed for an electronic miracle. As I prayed, I realized that I didn’t really believe God would answer this prayer. But I pushed these thoughts aside and continued to pray for an electronic miracle–and for more faith! Then I went on to pray through the prayer requests in yesterday’s newsletter.
I was pretty sleepy when I finished, but the e-mails had to be sent tonight, so I resigned myself to! The fact that I would have to retype them on the desktop computer. I picked up the laptop and put it beside the desktop for reference to what I had previously said, but my messages weren’t there! They weren’t anywhere — until I clicked the category entitled “items sent”! I don’t know how it happened, because the computer never went on line, but the messages were sent! I received confirmation of this later! Isn’t it wonderful that we serve a God who not only cares about the big things, but about the little things too? Who cares whether or not e-mails get out? Who cares whether or not I am in bed on time, or have to stay up fighting with computers? I only pray that the next time I need an electronic miracle (or for a miracle of any caliber!) I will have more faith!
