If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(1 John 1:9 ESV)
According to Webster Dictionary, “The phrase do over means to repeat an action or to get a fresh chance to try something again because the first try failed or went wrong.”
Have you ever wished you could back and not do something you did or possibly do something differently? Well, we can’t go back. But God will give you a do over.
I smile when playing games with my great grandkids and they make a mistake. They claim a do over. Yes, I let them.
God gives do overs. He will give us a chance to right a wrong. We can’t go back in time to erase it, but God let’s us try again to get it right.
So the next time you mess up something, ask God for another chance. Ask for a do over.
