For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
(Hebrews 4:12 ESV)
Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.”
(Jeremiah 1:9 ESV)
Yesterday after church, we burned our mortgage! What a load that was lifted off my pastor.
Yesterday was a good day. The sermon was great, too bad the battery in the camera decided to die so we couldn’t go live. The food after church was delicious and great fellowship.
But that wasn’t the best part. Jesus met me today. Last week was rough. The devil was on the rampage and taking his frustrations out on me. I felt overwhelmed to say the least. On my way to church yesterday morning, I cried. I don’t cry but yesterday I did. The weight of the week hit me like a ton of bricks. But during the service, the angels were there singing with us. Afterward, Jesus came to me. He held me, and reassured me it was OK. He has it all under control. Jesus met me in my little sound booth in the corner. That is where I can really hear the angels singing. I feel so free at times like that. The walls fade away and hundreds of angels fill the space.
Jesus loves us. He told me so today. He was just waiting for me to realize I don’t have to go alone. He is always with me, just waiting for my permission to work. Jesus is waiting for your permission too. He is waiting to set you free too. So give Him permission and feel the freedom of not having to do life on your own.
Have a wonderful day, everyone. And remember, Jesus loves you and so do I.
