Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life.
(Isaiah 43:4 ESV)
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
(1 Corinthians 13:4-8 ESV)
Have you ever been talking to someone and had memories hit you so hard you cried?
That happened to me yesterday. I was trying to comfort a friend when memories of my parents hit me hard. Tears came suddenly. But it was a cleansing cry. Something I have needed for quite a while.
My parents both died suddenly. I know where they are so I am happy about that. I know I will see them again. But I never got to say goodbye or tell them once more how much I love them. Yes, I know I said love instead of loved. My love is still alive for them. That won’t change.
I want to encourage everyone to tell your loved ones how much you love them before it’s too late. We don’t know how much time we have left. Be sure they are saved. You want your loved ones in heaven with you. Tell them how much Jesus loves them. Tell them before it’s too late. Jesus loves you and so do I.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
