Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

(James 4:7 ESV)

The devil wants you to skip this. But God wants you to read and pass it on to someone who needs to hear it.

God is Bigger Than…

1. Your past: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV)

2. Your pain: “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24 ESV)

3. Your anger: “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.” (Ephesians 4:26 ESV)

4. Your fears: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 ESV)

5. Your scars: “From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.” (Galatians 6:17 ESV)

6. Your sins: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9 ESV)

7. Your doubt: “Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, ‘O you of little faith, why did you doubt?’” (Matthew 14:31 ESV)

Whatever you are carrying, Jesus took it to the cross. He died for our sins. He is still God so take a deep breath and relax. Let Him work out our problems for us.
