“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
(Galatians 3:28 ESV)
“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.”
(Colossians 1:16 ESV)
There’s a song called, “Where I Belong” by Building 429:
“All I know is I’m not home yet.
This is not where I belong.
Take this world and give me Jesus.
This is not where I belong.”(Where I Belong, by Building 429)
Are you where you belong?
World wise, yes, I am. I live in a small apartment. I missed getting the larger apartment by 5 minutes. But God knew I did not need that apartment. It would have been quieter for me. But here is where I belong. I have made some wonderful friends here. Some are still here, and some moved on. God put me in this apartment for a reason. You see, He knew my medical skills would come in handy for several people. Whether it was helping someone up who fell or sitting with another having a heart attack while waiting on the ambulance. She made it another few years before passing away.
But God has a way of putting you where He wants you when He wants to. You might as well go along with His plans because it always works out better. I feel like I belong. I finally feel like I belong somewhere. I have lived here 16 years and I love it.
I also feel like I belong in the church I go to. God planted me there, too. I hope that if you don’t feel like you belong anywhere, God will show you where you belong. But the ultimate place I belong is with God in heaven.
Have a great day, everyone.
