Calling All Warriors

by | Oct 22, 2024 | Great Commission, Perseverance, Persistence, Witnessing

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

(Galatians 2:20 ESV)

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

(Matthew 28:19-20 ESV)

God gave us a mission. We are to seek out the lost and show them the way to salvation. That’s good. But what if they don’t want to listen? Pray for them and move on. God will keep sending people to them to try to get them saved. At least you tried.

But did you? Did you really try? Did you persevere or give up when they said no thanks? I would like to think I would keep trying, but would I keep trying? I have had people try to tell me about their beliefs, and I kind of tuned them out. I mean, I have a church that I love that God put me in. Nothing against different religions, but there are some that just aren’t for me.

God wants us out searching for the lost. We need to reach the lost before it’s too late. I want to encourage everyone to reach out to others. Tell people about Jesus. Do your very best to lead them to our Savior before it’s too late. We don’t know when our time is up and you may be the only person who will tell someone about Jesus. Think about it. Do you want to try to explain to God why you didn’t?

Have a blessed day, everyone.
