“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
(Matthew 6:33 ESV)
“And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
(Hebrews 11:6 ESV)
Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!
(1 Chronicles 16:11 ESV)
I have heard hunters, mostly unsuccessful ones, claim it was the thrill of the hunt. I think they want to think that because they went home empty-handed. I can say that hunting for God is a thrill. I have learned a lot in my journey.
According to AI:
“Here are some ways to seek God:
1. Pray: Make prayer a first step in everything, and talk to God about what you’re trying to decide.
2. Read the Bible: Set aside time to study and meditate on God’s Word, and listen for His voice.
3. Worship and praise: Worship and praise God, and thank Him.
4. Serve: Serve God.
5. Do good: Do good and avoid doing bad.
6. Confess and repent: Confess and repent when you don’t do good or if you do bad.
7. Live humbly.
8. Fast.
9. Obey: Obey God’s Word and voice.
10. Expect to find Him: Expect to find God and that He’ll reward you.”
Seeking God can involve putting God first and relying on Him for comfort, strength, and reassurance. As you pursue God, He may respond with his presence, blessing, and power.”
As you seek God, expect Him to welcome you with open arms. He is waiting for you to come to Him. God won’t push you. He gave us free will. It’s up to us to decide how to use it. I hope you make the right choice.
Have a great day, everyone.
