Bring It On

“You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow, go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.”

(2 Chronicles 20:17 ESV)

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

(1 Corinthians 15:57 ESV)

There’s a song called, “Come What May” by We Are Messengers:

“In every high, in every low.
On mountaintops, down broken roads.
You’re still my rock. My hope remains.
I’ll rest in the arms of Jesus.
Come what may.”

I have been hearing so many people talking about battles they are having. If you think you are alone, think again. The devil is out and about seeing who he can discourage and get them off track. Don’t let him. The battle is already won. Jesus fought this battle over 2000 years ago. He died so we could live. So laugh at the tricks of the devil.

I like the song, “Come What May”. No matter where I am, Jesus is right there with me. Sometimes, He walks beside me, and other times, He goes before me, clearing the path for me. But He never leaves me alone. There are times when He feels far away. But He isn’t. I’ve just been distracted and don’t feel Him close.

“You’re still my rock. My hope remains.
I’ll rest in the arms of Jesus.
Come what may.”

I rest in the arms of Jesus. So when the devil is after me, and he always is because he doesn’t like me doing these daily messages, I laugh in his face and say, “Not today, Satan!” I have that on my bathroom mirror next to a flamingo sticker. So whenever the devil comes at you. Just tell him not today! And then start laughing and praising Jesus. That will send him on his way for a while.

Have a fabulous day, everyone.
