“For this, you have been called because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example so that you might follow in his steps.”
(1 Peter 2:21 ESV)
“Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.’”
(John 8:12 ESV)
I have seen all kinds of acronyms. I found one yesterday I have never seen before:
A.M.E.N.:
Agree with God
Move with God
End with God
Never doubt God
The acronym F.E.A.R. stands for:
False
Evidence
Apprearing
Real.
It describes how the mind can create false stories about how situations will turn out and how fear can be an illusion. Fear can be a natural reaction to life’s challenges, but it can also have negative effects, such as:
1. Keeping us in the background
2. Convincing us, we can’t achieve our dreams
3. Stopping us from reaching our goals
4. Limiting what we’re willing to try
5. Leading to smaller lives
6. Being a symptom of insecurities.
Fear can cause a lot of issues if we let it. But we don’t have to let it. Jesus paid the price on the cross for us. He died for us. Fear is lie from the devil. We don’t have to worry or fear anything. The next time fear tries to creep in, remember this:
F.E.A.R. is:
False
Evidence
Apprearing
Real.
And if you are following Jesus, you have no reason to fear anything.
Have a fabulous day, everyone.
