“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
(Proverbs 18:21 ESV)
“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”
(Ephesians 4:29 ESV)
God is saying to you today, “Do not underestimate the power of your words and actions. You have the ability to impact lives, to spread love, and to shine light in the darkest of places. Walk in love and kindness, for in doing so, you reflect my character to a world in need of compassion.”
I have said it before, and I will say it again. Words have power. They can build up and tear down. I was told at church yesterday to watch what comes out of my mouth. My own words can build me up or tear me down. By speaking negative words, that draws negative results.
I have a friend who is always negative. I have known this person a long time, and they have always been negative. Well, needless to say, negative things always happens to this person, and they can’t figure out why, even though I have tried to tell them why.
I used to be a negative person. But life isn’t any fun, always looking at the dark side. If you always look at the negative side of life, nothing will look good. But if you would just try to look at things in a positive light, things will be brighter. The world would be a much nicer place for you. Things would improve. Life would be a happier place.
Don’t let people speak negative things over you. If they try to bring you down, just laugh. Don’t let their negativity rub off on you.
Have a great day, everyone.
