My wife and I were alcoholics, I prayed that the LORD should help me to stop drinking, I even send my prayer to prayer warriors. After a year I stopped drinking, unfortunately my wife became a slave to alcohol. I asked advice to divorce my wife, whenever I asked advice they asked me why must I divorce her. I told them about her drinking behaviour. One old man asked me: “When all of you were drinking, why did you not divorce her? If you asked help from someone to help you stop drinking, you have to do the same to your wife, divorce is not a solution of the problem.”
From that day I started to kneel down and pray earnestly to GOD: ”Please LORD, help my wife to stop drinking. Please help me. If she drinks alcohol please make hersick, please LORD, Please LORD.“ After a few months she told me that she feel bad when she drink beer. I said ”okay?“ One day her friends invited her to a club, they were drinking too much, the next day she become sick.
After three months she started drinking again then she became sick, whenever she consumed alcohol she became sick, then she stopped drinking.
Today she is has a business and earns money. It was the LORD who listened to my prayer and the LORD gave advice through the old man when he said ”Divorce is not a solution to the problem“. I knew that the devil was leading my wife, when the LORD Jesus Christ opened her eyes, she changed totally. “I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. (Ps 40:1-2 NIV2).
Prayer warriors, thank you very much. Please help me praise to the LORD and pray for my mother who has cancer. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah. Yes Lord we acknowledge that You are the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the end. We don’t have any other god, but in You we trust in You we come to You Lord with praise and thanksgiving. We praise Your Name. We lift you upon high and we continue to say You are our Lord, You are our God, You are the Alpha and the Omega.
