Today I feel weary and a little bit worn
I need to go visit the elderly lady
The baby that was just born
May I run this race, Lord?

Oh how I would like to be physically fit
With a healthy body, plenty of energy and a little wit
To be a pleasure to someone each day
May I run this race,Lord?

Lord give me wisdom to understand your word
Allow me to be useful for you in this world
For others to see you in my life
May I run this race,Lord?

Thank you for all that you have done for me
Especially my salvation ,that set me free
From worldly pleasure that is just not me
May I run this race, Lord?

You gave your son that I may live
To glorify our Father is the way I feel
Help me to do your perfect will
Let me run this race, Lord
