I Tell You a Mystery

by | Jun 3, 1999 | Crucifixion, Poem, Resurrection, Salvation

A man once crucified now lives!
How can this be?
In Jerusalem that day thousands witnessed His
death. Now He lives!

How can this be?
He was laid in a tomb and guards
stood watch as in death He hay.
Why guard a dead man’s tomb?

On the fist day of the week,  an angel of the LORD
broke open the tomb and the guards fell
over in fear. Who is this man whose death has
caused such a commotion?

Witnesses have seen Him and watched Him
ascend into Heaven surrounded by angels.
Who is this man?
He is God! His name is Jesus!
He is our Salvation!

I tell you a mystery.
