Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Corrie Ten Boom’s sister Betsy said shortly before her death in a concentration camp, “there is no pit so deep that God’s love is not deeper still.” Twelve days later, through a clerical error, Carrie was released from the camp just before all her age was sent to the gas chamber.

Ms. Ten Boom went through a lot in her life. I’m not sure I could handle all she did. But God was with her. He kept her safe. She went on to bring others to God. We don’t have nearly the problems that she went through. But we can still be telling others about God.

Are you doing your part? Are you telling others about our wonderful Savior? I think we can all step up our game a little. There are hungry and hurting people out there waiting for someone to tell them God loves them. Be the light that shines in the dark for others to see. Be the light that shows them the way to salvation.
