Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

There’s a song called, “All Because of Mercy” by Casting Crowns:

“I know the only reason,
I can stand here unashamed.
Is not because I’m worthy.
It’s all because of mercy.
There’s no way that I could earn it.
Praise God, my debt is paid.
It’s not because I’m worthy.
It’s all because of mercy.”

God in His infinite mercy provides for us. He loves us. We aren’t worthy to stand in front of God. But because of His mercy, we can go into the throne room and tell our loving Heavenly Father what we need. He invites us to come before Him with our petitions. We go before the King to plead our case. 

Do you have issues and problems? Take them to the throne room of Grace and lay them at the feet of God. He will decide what to do with them. He will provide the answers. It may be yes, but it can also be no. 

But one thing I have learned in my considerably long life. If God says no, He has something better coming if we will just be patient. There are times when God says yes but really wants to say no. He will let us do things we really shouldn’t because we have free will. God will never go against our free will. Just remember the words to this song. “It’s not because I’m worthy. It’s all because of mercy.”
