For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
(2 Corinthians 10:3-6 ESV)
What is a magnet?
According to Merriam-Webster a magnet is “something that attracts.” Did you know you mind is like a magnet? If you think blessings, you attract blessing. If you think problems, you attract problems. So always think good thoughts and remain positive and optimistic.
I know people who are always upbeat and positive. It seems they get things easier and quicker. I also know people who have probably never had a positive thought in their lives.
I used be a negative person many years ago. But not anymore. I tend to steer clear of the negative people. Being happy and positive feels so much better.
What does the Bible say about being happy? Here’s a couple verses:
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4 ESV)
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:11 ESV)
I just want to encourage you to be happy and positive. Give someone a smile. You have an endless supply of smiles so give a few away. Make someone else’s day and it might just make yours too.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
