Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 ESV

Things nobody knows about me:

• When yelled at I shut down or cry.
• I rarely open up to anyone until I get to know them.
• When life gets tough, I tend to hide. 
• I put other people’s feelings before mine.
• I’m a giver. I will give my last dollar to someone if I think they need it.
• I give way too many chances.
• I hate confrontation. 
• I tend to overthink things.
• I take everything to heart.
• I tend to remember the negative things instead of the positive things said to me.
• I put other people’s needs before my needs.
• I wholeheartedly love Jesus. 
• It takes a lot to make me mad but when I’ve had enough…watch out!
• I tend to bottle things up inside.

I know we all have THINGS! But it’s how we react to those things that count.

When stressful things rear up, do you close down or do you face it head-on? I tend to close down. At least I used to. I have learned over the last few years that I have a warrior on my side. That warrior is Jesus. Jesus doesn’t care what stands in the way. He will take it on for us.  Jesus will fight for us. He will clear the way for us.

So if you are struggling with your own issues, call on Jesus. Let Him take on that giant for you.
