“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
(Ephesians 4:32 ESV)
“Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”
(Colossians 3:13 ESV)
Yesterday morning, I was told something that really hurt my feelings. I stewed on it for a while before I realized the devil sent it. God started talking to me afterward. He said to forget it because it doesn’t really matter. And I realized it really doesn’t matter.
And no, I will not tell you because it’s personal, and I refuse to give the devil anything else to use against me. If I keep thinking or talking about it, he will just keep twisting it until I get mad and confront the person. Then, it would cause more issues that I don’t need. God said to just forgive the person in my heart and move on. So I did.
What do you do if someone hurts your feelings? Do you get mad and confront the person? Or do you just keep stewing about it until it has become a huge problem? I have learned, slowly, to just let it go. With God’s help, I will get there. So if you have hurt feelings, anger, etc. just turn it over to God and let Him work it out for you.
Have a fantastic day, everyone.
