“Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.”
(Ephesians 4:26-27 ESV)
“A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.”
(Proverbs 25:28 ESV)
“The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult.”
(Proverbs 12:16 ESV)
According to Oxford Languages, emotions are “a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.” Don’t let your emotions be your decision maker. Stop and pray, and let God lead you. He can change everything.
Emotions can be a problem. When anger takes over, you can say and do things you might regret later. But what about sadness? Sadness can lead to depression. Depression is a hard thing to get over. But you have a way out. Pray! Pray and ask God for help. He is just waiting for you to ask.
The emotion I enjoy is happy. That is a great place to live. Good things happen when you are happy. You are in the right mood to accept the good things God has for you.
Have a great day, everyone.
