“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”
(Ephesians 4:29 ESV)
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.”
(Psalm 37:5 ESV)
I found this on Pinterest. Ha! You thought Facebook didn’t you!
Start your day with thoughts of positivity.
1. My actions are meaningful.
2. I am enough.
3. I am incredible.
4. I am optimistic.
5. I am valued.
6. I am peaceful.
7. I am strong.
8. I love me.
9. I can achieve anything.
10. I am happy.Author Unknown
There are more, but these are the ones I think are important.
The devil comes to hurt you. He will tell you no one loves you. No one cares about you. He has told me that so many times I started believing it. But I was wrong. I am loved. Jesus loves me even if no one else does. And that is enough for me.
The devil has told me so many lies in my life. He had me believing I was worthless. Unloved. But I know better.
My dad always put me down. I wasn’t a skinny, cute little girl. I was chubby growing up and kept gaining because of his mental abuse. I know dad loved me, but he couldn’t show it and didn’t want us to. So he was abusive to all of us except the youngest. He could do no wrong in his eyes. And that’s ok too. I forgive dad even though he went to heaven a very long time ago.
Being positive is becoming a way of life for me. Things don’t always look good, but I see the positive side instead of the negative. If you don’t remember anything else, remember these verses:
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
(Philippians 4:13 ESV)
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
(2 Timothy 1:7 ESV)
And remember that God is still on the throne and in control. Don’t let the devil steal one more thing from you. Take a stand and fight. It’s time to tromp on the devil.
Have a fabulous day.
