The Power of Choice

by | Jun 21, 2024 | Attitude, Choices, Complaining, Freedom

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…”

(Romans 3:23 ESV)

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

(Jeremiah 29:11-13 ESV)

Do you know we have the power of choice? We make choices every day. We choose what to wear, what to eat, where to go, etc.

I read this on Facebook yesterday:

“With the power of choice, you can be either a duck or an eagle. When you get up expecting a bad day, you’ll rarely be disappointed. Stop complaining! Don’t be a duck. Be an eagle. Ducks quack and complain while eagles soar above the crowd.”

It’s all about your attitude. If you’re always quacking and complaining, your attitude needs adjusted. If your attitude is right, and you’re an eagle, you will soar above the problems. All you have to do is change your attitude. It’s really your choice. I can’t make that decision for you.

You can either be a duck and keep quacking and complaining. Or you can be an eagle and soar over the problems. Your choice. Only you have the power of choice over your life. I hope you choose the right choice. I hope you choose to be an eagle. So stop quacking and start soaring.

Have a great day, everyone.
