“The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”
(Job 33:4 ESV)
“As long as my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils.”
(Job 27:3 ESV)
There’s a song called, “Alive and Breathing” by Matt Maher:
“Joy still comes in the morning.
(Alive and Breathing by Matt Maher)
Hope still walks with the hurting.
If you’re still alive and breathing,
Praise the Lord.
Don’t stop dancing and dreaming.
There’s still good news worth repeating.
So lift your head and keep singing,
Praise the Lord.”
Are you still breathing? Then you’re alive. They kind of go hand in hand.
So we have established you’re alive and breathing. Praise the Lord! Thank Him for another chance. Thank Him for another day!
It doesn’t matter how dark the night feels. There is still joy in the morning. God saw you through another night, another storm or another whatever. Rejoice! Rejoice in the fact that God is still on the throne working on our behalf. He is always working. He never sleeps, and He never takes a vacation. He isn’t sun bathing on a beach somewhere. So no matter what is going on around you, know that God is there, taking care of it.
“Don’t stop dancing and dreaming.
(Alive and Breathing by Matt Maher)
There’s still good news worth repeating.
So lift your head and keep singing,
Praise the Lord.”
Have a blessed day, everyone.
