“So faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of Christ.”

I was scrolling through Facebook last night. After spending all day finishing up cookies and candy, I was just relaxing. I found this: “Faith tells me, no matter what lies ahead. God is already there.”

No matter what you may think, God is already there. He is working things out before we even know we have a problem. All we need is faith. Faith that God will move mountains for us. Faith that He will take care of us: 

“And Jesus answered them, ‘Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be taken up and thrown into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.'”

(Mark 11:22-24 ESV)

Another verse:

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

(2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV)

We walk by faith. We do not need to see what’s going on around us. Just have faith that God is taking care of it. So where’s your faith? Is it big or as small as a mustard seed. If you don’t know what a mustard seed is, it’s that tiny yellow ball in a jar of pickles. And it’s bigger than it is before it’s put into the jar of pickles.

So pull out your faith, dust it off, and turn to God.
