The things that run through a person’s mind. I was in the bathroom yesterday morning when the song “I Got You Babe” ran through my mind. Yes, I used to listen to rock when I was younger. Then God started talking to me. I mean right there in the bathroom. I asked God if it could wait until I got out. His reply? “Why? I made you, and I know every part of you.” So I said, “True. Proceed.”

God said to think about that one line. When Sonny and Cher sang it, it wasn’t about God. But it could have been. And it can be.

Well, think about it for a minute. Who does have us? Who watches out for us? God does. God has our backs. He always has and always will. That is the truth. It’s funny to me what random things run through my mind. But most times, when that happens, I get a devotional out of it. God is funny that way. He will send random thoughts and then say write on it. So I do. God has my back. He takes care of me, and He will take care of you too.
