“Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20 ESV)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 ESV)
I was watching 911 yesterday. A guy called 911 for an ambulance because he thought he was having a heart attack. But it was a panic attack. He was a singer and was to audition for a school of performance arts. The dispatcher distracted him by singing I’ll Be There. He started singing harmony and calmed down. Jesus started talking to me while they were singing. He said really listen to the words. So I did. Then I looked up the song:
“I’ll reach out my hand to you.
I’ll have faith in all you do.
Just call my name and I’ll be there.”
(I’ll Be There by Bobbie Daren)
Jesus said to just call His name and He will be here, right beside me. He said to have faith that He will do everything He promised to do for me. And He will for you too. Line by line.
Jesus has His hand outstretched, waiting for us to reach out to Him. Jesus has faith in us. We need to have faith in Him too. And last but definitely not least…just call His name and He will be right here, guiding you and loving you.
Don’t hesitate, call out for Jesus today. Take His hand and let Him lead you.
Have a blessed day everyone.
