“You shall serve the Lord your God, and heal will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.” (Exodus 23:25 ESV)
“My mouth is filled with your praise, and with your glory all the day.” (Psalm 71:8 ESV)
While reading Kenneth Hagans book The Untapped Power of Praise, I read a story about a missionary who contracted smallpox. God showed her 2 baskets. One was trials and tests. It was full. The other was praise and worship. It was only half full. God told her the praise basket needed to be filled so it would outweigh the other basket. After several days of praise and worship, she walked out healed.
Do you praise God enough? I am lacking in that department. I decided that I am going to fix that problem. I will start praising God and thanking Him for everything. Even if what I have been praying for hasn’t manifested yet, I will praise God and thank Him because I know it will come.
Are you waiting for God to send something? Start praising Him now. Praise changes things.
Have a great day everyone.
