“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and tomorrow.” (Hebrews 13:8 ESV)

“For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 ESV)

They say change is good. But then why do we resist it?

I think for me it’s because I have this comfort zone that I really like because…well…it’s comfortable.

But change can be a good thing. Seasons change every year. Trends change, some are good and some maybe not so good.
Tastes change. For example, the Edsel. You don’t see many of them outside a antique car show.

But there is one thing that never changes. Jesus’s love for us. Jesus never changes. Period. End of sentence.

And that’s a good thing. Just think if Jesus changed like we do. He could change His mind about us. Then where would we be? That is not something I want to think about. What if He changed His mind and decided there were enough people in heaven already. Where would that leave us?

But He won’t change his mind about us. He will keep on loving us and seeking us when we stray away. Isn’t that good news? He will search for us until He finds us because He loves us that much.

How about you? Do you love Jesus? I hope so. Fall in love with Jesus. He really does love us all. Plus he doesn’t play favorites. He loves you just as much as he loves me. So give your heart to the one who loves you most. He will never change his mind about how He feels for you.
