“And he said to him, ‘Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.'” (Luke 23:43 ESV)

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4 ESV)

Have you ever gone on vacation and after a few days be ready to go home? I have. I get home sick very easily.

Well, I am home sick. No, I haven’t taken a trip. I am sitting in my living room right now. But I am actually home sick for my future home. I am home sick for heaven. What with everything going on in the world right now, I am ready to leave it and go home.

Oh, chill out. I’m not suicidal. I don’t intend to go before my appointed time. I’m just saying, if God is ready for me, I’m ready to go. Just think, in heaven no wars, no violence, abuse or even anger. Just peace, contentment and love. To live in paradise will be wonderful.

I have heard of people who have been taken to heaven, whether a vision or dream, I don’t know. But they describe the beauty of heaven. The streets of gold, all the bright colors. I have heard we will have jobs in heaven. I hope I get to take care of kids, especially babies. I have a soft spot for babies and kids. I want to be able to cuddle and love on the aborted babies, let them know someone loves them.

So whatever you believe, time is getting short. There’s not a lot of time left for us. Get right with God today. I don’t want anyone to spend eternity in torment and fires that never go out. Think about it. Eternity is a long to to spend in fire and torment. So go to church. Learn all you can about God’s love. God loves you and so do I.

Have a great day.
