“For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:14 NKJV)
“Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.” (3 John 1:11 NKJV)
There was a tree in my front yard when I moved in. It had the prettiest blossoms on it in the spring. After living here about 5 years, it produced a small fruit. I researched it and found out it was a cherry plum tree. I never got any plums off of it because the squirrels got them first.
That tree started dying a few years ago. First one branch, then another. Finally the whole tree gave up. Housing came and cut it down. They left a stump about 6 inches above the ground. I didn’t like that stump there. It was an eyesore. So I decided to disguise it. I bought flowers and made a flower bed around it and my new tree. That stump developed a fungus. That fungus destroyed what was left of that stump, making it easy to just pull out of the ground.
That’s how the devil works. He comes to destroy and make things difficult. But God will use what the devil is trying to do and turn it around for good. So an old stump, that was an eyesore, became even more so with the fungus. But God used it to get rid of it.
So if you have “fungus” in your life, give it to God and let Him fix it for you. He is a great gardener.
Have a great day.
