“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)

At the end of grade 12, all students graduating had to take a test that would last 4 hours. We were told it was a formality, but what I didn’t know was that if we didn’t get a certain grade, I would not be able to continue to higher education, which included the seminary. Still, although I had no knowledge of this, I tried my best. Had I known it was so important, however, I would have studied a lot more hours than I did! Just as well I didn’t know!

So often we worry way too much. At that time, I was dedicated to my Heavenly Dad. Through Him I was able to rise up even though adversity was fierce. Do we believe He loves us? If we do, why should we worry at all? He will continue to guide us. No fear in sight!

“Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, ‘Abba, Father.’ So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.” Galatians 4:6-7 (NIV). Our Heavenly Dad does way more than love us. God’s very Spirit dwells in us. We are never alone!

I wrote these true stories of my youth to show that our Heavenly Dad has always been with us, even when we were young. I could continue this series by exploring the rest of my life, but then this series would become endless, as I experience my Dad every day. He cares for each one of us! And if you take time to go over your life, you will become aware that God was at your side all along. After all, He considers us His own children! A dad would do anything for his sons and daughters, even more so our Heavenly Father. That’s what love is! This is why Jesus willingly died on a lonely cross, so that we could experience His love for eternity. There is no more fear in death! We are destined to be in the kingdom of our Father, which is way more attractive that the most beautiful place on earth. Our Heavenly Dad is with us!

May we always remember that we are not slaves to our circumstances. Our Dad is in control! Watch attentively for His presence in your life. He will never forsake you! He considers you as royalty, as being His son or daughter for eternity!

The dragon has been conquered, we no longer have anything to fear. Our Heavenly Dad is with us, the lover of our soul. We are in good hands. He will lead us to the promised land. He loves us that much.

May I encourage you to write down your experiences with your Heavenly Father. At times you will feel down. It’s at such times that reading what you have experienced with your Father in the past will fill you with adrenaline!
