The cry heard throughout the generations, came from Calvary’s Hill;
That’s where they crucified my Lord, and innocent blood was spilled.
Everyone knows it happened, but some just won’t accept or believe;
Those are the ones who walk in darkness, the ones Satan has deceived.  

Christ walked up that hill carrying a cross, the one that claimed His life;
We would not have a promise of eternal grace, without His sacrifice.
Judged for spreading the word of His’ Father, claiming to be God’s Son;
There were those who did not believe Him…chances…they gave Him none.  

They desperately wanted to control Him, for fear was their guide;
There was no way they could let Him live, that’s why He was crucified.
The cry heard throughout the generations, was meant to save all of man;
God sent His only begotten Son, why can’t people understand?
