God Knelt Before Man

by | May 13, 2014 | God's Love, Humility, Poem, Servant

Once … God knelt down before man, with angels all around;
The Father humbled Himself, as He knelt there on the ground.
His’ hands covered in dust, as He worked it into clay;
Molding a man with love, in the dust where he lay.

Knowing someday that man, would from Him, turn his’ back;
The Potter kept on working … for nothing would man lack.
One day there will be one, more precious than all of the rest;
The Father will send a Son, The Son will pass the test.

That Son will give His’ life, to take on all of man’s sins;
The Potter knelt down once … but it will NEVER happen again.
God owes us nothing, and it’s time for us to pay;
For The Potter gave us life, as He knelt there in the clay.
