Dear Lord I come to You in the quiet of the day,
asking Your forgiveness for the sins of yesterday.
I can’t begin to thank You for the blessings I’ve received.
I can’t contain my happiness for my faith; I do believe.

As I sit and ponder all the things to You I owe,
my heart is filled to overflowing of You I’ve come to know.
I give You praise and bless Your name;
how I long to know You more.

Jesus enter in, my hearts an open door.
Be my constant companion blessed Savior,
lead me to Thy shore,
give to me the Living Water

that my soul shall thirst no more.
Fill me up to overflowing for the Bread of Life I yearn,
change me into Your image,
from my sinful ways to turn.

Bless me, Lord with Your Sweet Presence.
Give my soul Your Peace and rest,
till that blessed day of rejoicing,
when I know I’ve passed the test.

Then I’ll join the Saints in Heaven,
where the Father I shall meet,
sitting there beside You Jesus,
I will know no more defeat.
