Fluffy

by | May 24, 2004 | Deception, Deliverance

Traveling to Orlando by commuter plane, we had to fly through some low clouds-those lovely puffy clouds, in varying shades of white to light and medium gray. They all looked so beautiful from inside the airplane-so light, so fluffy, so safe. Yet we experienced mild to medium turbulence while in their vicinity.

Isn’t this what happens with destructive forces in our lives? Things can look so good, so harmless; we are lulled into deception by the calm, fluffy, pretty way sin looks. Then when we’re into it, we find out the turbulence it causes for us and for those who are traveling with us.

Fortunately, there is a way out; the answer really is Jesus!

PRAYER: Thank You, Lord, for providing so many ways to fend off the enemy-the arm or-of God, angels, the Chief’ Shepherd. Help me, Lord, not to be deceived by the deceiver and father of lies. In Jesus’ name, amen.
