OK…I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today!! Sound familiar? I got up, ready to do the day, then as I went to read the Bible (sounds real spiritual huh?) And listen to music (Christian of course), my CD ROM, on my computer is my stereo, I found my CD ROM broken!!! My Grand son had opened his drawer without seeing the CD drawer was open. Boom…

OK…Now a “good spiritual” woman of God would have just looked and said “no big deal! It’s OK Forrest, Nana can fix it or replace it” Right?! Nope, not me!! First I start singing the Alleluia chorus, literally (to try to hide my anger)…Then I yell how he doesn’t even look!!! By now I’m in a real “spiritual” mode!!

My friend calls right then to talk and say good morning! Do I talk to her? NO…I tell my daughter to tell whoever it is I am not in a mood right now to talk to anyone!!! Needless to say, after some coffee, I took the computer apart, played with the C.D. ROM drawer, and fixed it!! It really was no big deal, but at the time I felt like it was the last straw on the camels back, so to speak.

Of course let’s just make everyone around me feel better by saying “It doesn’t matter…I won’t be around that much longer anyway!!!”

Good one Robyn!!! Duh!!! Man, I am sooo glad that God does not judge every mood we swing into. I would be lost without His forgiveness on a daily basis!!! Open mouth, insert foot, and then try to walk!!! That was me today!!!

Now, how can I possibly listen to music and speak the Word of God to anyone today? I can!!! You see my “Righteousness” does not depend on me!!! It is in the Blood of Jesus alone!!! And His Blood shed for me says…”You are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus!!” Praise God!!

So the next time, like me, you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and explode at the first incident, remember. God is the God of second chances. Get back up on the right side!!!
