Innocence in Love

Standing before the crowd, he was lashed, tender skin was shred.
The pain suffered, our journey out of bondage led.

His tortures burned, tears weeped from his eyes of disdain.
Yet he stood withstanding the hurt and the pain.

He was forced to bear his own cross to place he was to be nailed.
His death was a great sacrifice, a sinful world was railed.

Feeling great anguish, the pain was so unbearable to withstand.
He wasn’t detoured from his destiny, altering Satan’s brand.

As his blood stained the ground, he suffered for sinners freedom.
Giving it all, his life left his body, a sad played drum.

Sealed in a tombstone, by large stones for protection.
Death couldn’t keep him, a new birth, his resurrection.

Innocence In Love led him to be a sacrificial lamb
For the world’s transgressions were very grave, Satan’s ultimate scam.

Standing before the crowd, he was lashed, skin was shred.
The pain suffered, our journey out of bondage led.
