In the Endless Cycle of the Seas

by | Jun 3, 1999 | Poem, Trials

Life has become erratic, the soul barely breathes.
Without faith we are lost in the endless cycle of the seas.

The waves crash on the shore, blistering the sand.
Without faith there is no healing hand.

The sun has parched the earth.
Without faith, there will never be any new floral outburst.

Crying in the streets, famine has struck with poverty.
Without faith there will never be liberty.

A tragic disease has struck a native village.
Without faith, all will be left is another’s pillage.

Gangleaders have torched many homes in devious pleasure.
Without faith, goodness has no measure.

A mother struggles to raise her child without welfare.
Without faith, the world wouldn’t care.

Life has become erratic, the soul barely breathes.
Without faith we are lost in the endless cycle of the seas.
