Get Ready for His Coming

“in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV)

Dearly beloved and friends, the Word of God is true. God is not a liar, as He is a promise and covenant keeper. One fact remains sure and steadfast, and that is that: Jesus is coming again very soon. Are you ready for Him?

Either you want to accept it or not, one day you will exit this earth by death or rapture for no one lives on this side of eternity forever.

Here are some key wake up scriptures:

a. “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27 KJV).
b. “then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV).
c. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (1 John 3:2 KJV).

Examples of those who were ready:

1. Job: Despite his great sufferings, God blessed him and ensured he had the best in life before passing to glory at very ripe age (See Job 42:16).
2. Stephen: Heaven glaringly opened up for him as he was passing out (See Acts 7:56).
3. Apostle Paul: He was very confident of meeting the Lord Jesus and of living and reigning forever in heaven (See 2 Timothy 4:8).
4. YOU: Let no man or doctrine confuse you, Jesus Christ is coming again. You must hold tenaciously to this truth (See John 24:44).

What to do to ensure genuine readiness, have:

• Unalloyed faith and walk with the Lord.
• A life of quality praise and worship to God.
• A life of humility, hospitality and holiness.
• A life of watchfulness, vigilance and prayers.
• A consistent life of soul winning & follow-up.

Prayer Points, In Jesus name, amen:

1. Father, please don’t let my pilgrim’s journey be a disaster or a colossal waste, uphold me.
2. Father, please give us grace to be heavenly minded every day of our lives.
3. Father, get me ready for my mansion on high!

The King is coming! Be expectant!
