The Faithful One, Part 5

In the final part of our series titled "The Faithful One", we come to the sub-topic:


Faithful Father of the Redeemed in Christ...

In conclusion, let's focus upon our faithful Heavenly Father's dealing with us as Christians. Besides selecting us from times immemorial (See Eph. 1:3-6) for salvation in Christ, He has promised to faithfully shepherd us until we safely reach Heaven, "by sealing us with His Holy Spirit" ("and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us." 2 Cor 1:22 NLT; See also Eph 1:13-14). In our own "ups and downs" of our spiritual walk with Him, as the following Scripture testifies, He always remains faithful...

"if we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself." (2 Tim 2:13 NLT)
(Hey, let not this Scripture be a license to any licentiousness!!! Beware our Father is also a consuming fire- Heb 10:26-31/12:29)

In response to our Father's immeasurable faithfulness, let's resolve to serve Him faithfully until the very end, be dependant upon His indwelling, empowering Spirit to overcome all the temptations that may come our way (See I John 4:4/Heb. 10:37-38/Rev. 17:14). Amen and Amen.

Prayer: Father, we resolve to put our weak hands into Thy powerful hands and walk. We glorify Thee in Jesus' Name. Amen.
