"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you." (1 Peter 5:10 ESV)
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him."(James 1:12 ESV)
Troubles come and troubles go. It's how we handle those troubles is what will make or break us.
I was watching a movie yesterday. A man was in an accident and was severely injured. He had a very big and long pity party. But he finally decided to fight. He decided to fight, and ultimately he won.
There's a song called, "I Hope You Dance" sung by Lee Ann Womack and Sons of the Desert"
"Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.
Dance. I hope you dance.
I hope you dance. I hope you dance." I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack and Sons of the Desert
I have decided that during my times of trouble, I will dance. I will dance in the face of the devil. I don't physically dance because my legs won't let me right now. But that doesn't mean my heart can't dance before Jesus. I can no longer sit still and let troubles overtake me. I will fight and overcome anything, no, everything that comes my way. With the help of Jesus, I will come out victorious.
And so will you. Let Jesus help you. He is waiting for you to give it to Him. Will you let Jesus help? Or will you struggle on your own? Think about it. Jesus is waiting.
Have a great day everyone.
