"Commit to the Lord whatever you do and all your plans will succeed." (Proverbs 16:3 NKJ)

"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will act." (Psalm 37:5 ESV)

Now that it is December, the holidays are not far off. New Years is just around the corner. It's time to think about New Year's resolutions. Oh, you don't make any? Well, neither do I but this is a good year to start doing so.

I don't mean the usual ones, like start a diet, only to last maybe a month if you're dedicated enough to even start one. I don't mean get a gym membership either that you use twice then quit either. I mean recommit your life to God. Or if you have never given your life to God, do it.

This old world is going crazy and things are only going to get worse. I've read the back of the book. Revelations is a scary book if you aren't saved. Wild things are going to happen. I don't want to be around for them. But it's not hard to recommit your life to God.

Here's how I do it.

Step 1: Repent.
Step 2: Repent again and really mean it.
Step 3: Ask Jesus to come into my heart to stay.
Step 4: Live your life in such a way God will be happy to say, "That's my kid!"

See? It's not hard. Oh, I know I joke around some but it really is that easy. Repent and mean it, ask Jesus into your heart to stay. Then live for him every day.

God wants us. He loves us. "God doesn't need us but somehow he wants us." That's in song I heard awhile back. It's true. God already has a heaven full of people plus scores of angels to keep Him company. But He WANTS US!

So what's your decision today? Stay how you are? In your own little corner? Or live boldly for God?

I choose to live boldly for God! He has been so good to me. It's time I step out and boldly proclaim His love for the world to hear. Shout it out for all to hear! OUR GOD REIGNS! Go boldly today proclaiming God's love to others.
