For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
(Ecclesiastes 3:1 ESV)
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
(Habakkuk 2:3 ESV)
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
(Isaiah 40:31 ESV)
You’ll wait. You’ll pray. You’ll get frustrated. You’ll question everything. But you’ll continue to be patient. You’ll keep waiting and and praying. Until one day when you least expect it, it’ll finally happen. So don’t ever stop believing, trusting or hoping. God is ready to give you everything you’ve ever dreamed of. But understand that it’s in His timing, not yours.
God loves us so much and wants us to have our hearts desire. But it is always in His timing, not ours. His timing may seem like forever, and we just want to try it on our own. But it will never be as good as what God has for us if we just wait.
Patience is a virtue, or so I’m told. There are times I want something but I want it now. I don’t want to wait. But if I wait and don’t try to rush God’s timing, I would probably get something better than what I got on my own. So the next time you are wanting something but don’t think you can wait, take a deep breathe and reconsider. Remember God’s timing and be patient.
Have a good day, everyone.
